Naschy speaks very highly of him in the commentary on the German HUNCHBACK... DVD. He's one of the morgue attendants who the character slaughters. FURY...
is the most wretched film, but it's so damn entertaining. It makes me want to see Zabalza's "westerns" which must be a hoot! EL JUDAS also
sounds interesting, but I've given up hope on seeing any Iquino films.

He was only Naschy's stunt double in NIGHT OF THE HOWLING BEAST. Note that in this particular film the wolfman is given particularly dangerous action,
jumping from great heights and all. I think the problem is that Iglesias got carried away by having Brandy on set and also gave him scenes involving Waldemar
(as opposed to the wolfman), which is why the final fight scene between Induni (self-stunting) and Waldemar (leaping about crazily) is a bit OTT. Naschy
himself could have done those...

Thanks for the interesting M I Bonns report. Yes, Brandy was the wolfman in DRACULA CONTRA FRANKENSTEIN. But I didn't know he was Naschy's stunt
double! He's slight and agile, unlike the burly PN. You tell there's a double in some of the PN werewolf films, especially FURIA... although I
don't know if Brandy was involved.

The 23-F coup was scary when it happened, but looks pathetically ill-done in retrospect.

Yes, Gil Vidal did several Iglesias films and in NIGHT OF THE HOWLING BEAST, he was "Larry Talbot". I recently rewatched that film at a special
showing (in video, alas) at which both Iglesias and Mercé Molina ("Grace Mills") were present. Grace Mills (rather more formidable-looking now than
in the film) did EXORCISMO and this film, and then appeared under her real name in...

I remember seeing a report on this on US TV at the time.
Isn't Gil Vidal in a Naschy film? Thanks for the review. I like Bonn's NIGHT OF THE HOWLING BEAST a lot for its primitivist/comic book qualities.
