See how we get off topic when talking about Jess Franco!

Yeah, I've read the Jimmy McDonough Milligan bio but not the Meyer bio. Milligan certainly seems like an abusive person who was also an artist who made
personal Z films for the totally undiscriminating. He's fascinating and repulsive at the same time, like his films. He had a horrible life and victimized
many people. But you can't help feel some sympathy for him at the end. A great bio, for sure.

Boy, didn't take long for this Milligan thread to derail, did it :0)
By the way, I'm reading the guy who wrote Milligan's bio, can't remember his name off hand and am too lazy to look it up, his Russ Meyer bio. So
far it is amazing the similarities between Milligan and Meyer. It's odd how each man externalized their domineering mother situation. Fascinating stuff.

I saw it in 1987. I don't have it but I may be able to find it. The credits were different, with men on horseback. There were nude shots of Maria Rohm on
the hay, which I hadn't seen in the Spanish version. Also, in EL PROCESO DE LAS BRUJAS, Lee would play original pieces by Nicolai on the organ, whereas
here there were some dubbed Bach cues (composed after the time of Judge Jeffreys).

Yes, the Butch Peraino Mob who took over DEEP THROAT at gunpoint reportedly. They bought Milligan's BLOOD. In fact DEEP THROAT's HARRY REEMS stars in

I have vague memories of BLOOD, but I certainly remember CARNAGE, my only other Milligan. I saw those on VHS along with some S.F. Brownrigg films back in the
late 80s.

I enjoyed the FLESHPOT scene on You-Tube; those two looked like professional actors (which I presume they were) and the aesthetics are unique, a bit like early
seventies underground. Is that Mob outfit you mention the Peraino company?
